Well whatever doubts there may have been about management were dispelled by what must have been an emotive half time talk. We were not great in first half although we were a bit unlucky to go in losing.

But what a great performance second half sparked by captain Jamie as ever and a great 20 mniutes by Brad (hope that injury is not too bad). Could be the turning point of the season? Burbs thoroughly deserved his goal for all his hard work, but what a fantastic cross by Jordan Collins.

Well done lads up to 15th now - just relax and go for it Saturday!!

As for the caretakers 12 points from last 7 games and only 1 defeat is not bad going with a limited squad.

Just a word about the ref - we have had him before and he is really fussy at times and does not let the game flow - did he book Neil for coming back on to the field without permission? But at least he didn't bottle it when their thug number 3 got sent off for an atrocious tackle on Lee - although he should have gone for persistant fouling and pushing on a couple of earlier occasions.

i think we solved our own problem today, ive been to quite a few homes games this season and at the start of it we played good football passing the ball and chucking in a few long balls. But recently we have lost the passing and just aimed for rikki.

today thou in the 2nd half we passed the ball and it showed that we can play around a team if we do it and open them up to get crosses in.

come on blues lets play more passing football and go to the athletic stadium with confidence.

ps leave the caretakers as caretakers, always seems to go wrong when teams give a caretaker the manager contract.

Fairly lacklustre first half imo but what a turn around come the second. Back to back wins ! Not since the opening 2 games of the season i believe.

Good to see Gameo running about before hand too. Blewitt is not far off either now.

Dorms just keeps popping up with genuine heart warming performances but the team are working for oneanother which is the key.

Bradders is saving himself ! And terrific to see him with that smile back on his face.

Lets face it we go into Saturday as massive underdogs so no pressure what so ever on our lads. Go and enjoy it !

The only thing i would say though is simply to the lads...If you play to your potential you can give Chelmo a game...Only YOU can do that if YOU WANT it !

But what a cross by Jordan for Rikki to tuck away. You gotta say that a last minute winner is in a way a better feeling than winning a game 5 zip comfortably.

Were sneaking up that table ! grin

A critical three points for us with a sequence of difficult looking away games to come.

I thought that despite the first half not being great we still had the better chances and didn't deserve to go in behind but I suppose it's all about making your chances count.

Second half we reverted to 4-3-3 and it made a big difference. The extra man in the middle of the park (be it Shave or Semanshia) seems to have a huge impact on our effectiveness in that area and we completely dominated.

Apart from a half hearted penalty shout and a good piece of covering from Kerrers they didn't threaten, whilst we must have had 7 or 8 decent efforts.

We deserved the win today and it was great to see Hodgie back involved.

Obviously a difficult game on Saturday but who knows, I'm sure we'll give it a good go.

Come on you blues!!!
