I don't think there's any doubt we deserved something from the game, but we didn't get it and that's life.

We still have a lot of work to do in the aim of staying up and we shouldn't lose sight of that. We are a much better outfit now but need to make sure we take chances when they come and grind out results.

desperately unlucky we didnt get something in the 2nd half

how lucky was some of that windsor defending 2nd half!!! it was almost back to the good ol days of Jarvis and Tilbury

ours wasnt much better though but when is it?

we just aint making enough chances at the moment

gotta find a way of getting the ball wide because thats when we have the most success usually

robinson and to a lesser extent rendell have struggled it seems playing as wing backs

Agree with Kirby they looked more threatening going forward in my opinion, but we played the better football. A point would have been fair, but that's football.

Thought the defence looked OK today actually. Betts may have to look at the wingback situation though as others have said...

Gutted, we definately deserved something from that game, but it was a game that either team could have won, and as per usual form, we lost it. Bit like the home games against Taunton and Gosport earlier this season.

Good effort from all the players today we were just very unlucky, but once again we are creating more chances which is good going into games against Thatcham, Andover and Gosport.

Who actually scored our goal??

I thought the first half was maybe just shaded by Windsor but we definately were the better team in the second half and but for some fortunate richochets in their area we could have had a couple of goals and were then mugged at the death.

Overall I was pleased with our effort and performance with my MoM going to Meddie Nsubuga.

Still not convinced about Donnell Allan, he looked shakey in the first half and lost the ball which presented Windsor with their first goal but to his credit he did play better in the second half.

We were mugged , hey but not to unhappy because we did try to play some good football at times and if only we mastered to beat the offside trap we would have done much better, but it was not to be...and santa left us with no christmas cheer...except Bracknell and Newport loseing too !

up the rebels...

good job our supporters turned up to give Windsor their top crowd..

Deserved a point, but we didn't exactly look lethal in front of goal. Was that the slowest goal we have ever scored, it looked like it had been blown in by a straw.

Not a bad crowd (mind you did you see Farnboroughs!) - good to see some old faces singing behind the goal. Be good to get them to Beaconsfield to show that we can make some noise and it was good to go back to Slug Meadow to remind me just how much more enjoyable it is being at Beaconsfield.

Chris Sliski, a couple of corrections to your comments mate [1] we're not good enough to play the offside trap, the truth of the matter is that probably your most experienced player [Lee Charles] was cheating his team-mates and supporters by being lazy, which is one of the two main reasons he wasn't with us for very long a couple of seasons ago [the other reason being he doesn't look like scoring when he does get through!] and, [2] it was our second highest league crowd of the season with Farnborough being the best supported team so far at the Meadow.

Having got that out of the way I must admit you deserved at least a draw and if you continue to put in performances like that every week you will climb away from the relegation positions with no problems.

Best of luck for the rest of the season - except Easter Monday of course!

So the official figure of 304 for the Farnborough league game is wrong then? Not that I'm overly fussed what it was or wasn't - I'm just disappointed Marcus didn't take me up on my bet wink

Am I the only one on here that thinks that on the overall balance of play, Windsor deserved the win as they always looked more likely to score? We showed very little penetration all game and IMO, had Windsor had their shooting boots on they'd have put the game out of sight well before injury time.
