Just thought I'd share the headlines from the news item on www.margate-fc.com homepage.

It'll be fifth versus fourth so crucial points as well as local pride at stake.

The turnstiles will open at 11.30am for a 1pm kick-off and segregation will be in operation for the game. We’ll have some festive music (still can't find a Rubettes track Cookie ;o) )and of course Margator will also be there.

The place to catch the best of the match action is of course Hartsdown Park, so do try to come along, enjoy and be a part of the atmosphere . But if you can’t be there in person, why not join me for the best live match commentary on the web, on GATE RADIO? We’ll have music from our featured artists from mid-day and the full match live and uninterrupted from 1pm.

Full match preview now available on www.margate-fc.com including a link to commentary on Danny Hockton's winning goal in the April game at Hartsdown Park. (You never know, that clip might be making an appearance over the PA system on Boxing Day ;))

I think first link has gained a comma Steve so won't link.

Thats for the effort that has gone into writing reports, previews commentating etc all year.

Simply wish that you have many Margate successes to write up in 2008.It must be easier to get the ink flowing after a win

Thanks for that MM,and you're absolutely right about "ink flow". What I have found, is that win, lose, good game, bad game, I always seem to find about the same amount of stuff to write about!

Happy Christmas to all my readers and listeners!
