Is it just a coincidence that all the older players are injured ?

 

Maybe there is some truth in the fact that as you get older, it takes longer to recover-or indeed that playing for 15 or so years is taking its toll ,and the injuries tewnd to mount up.

 

Never really thought of it that way before, but maybe not so clever to have so many senior players in a side.

 

I have a feeling, it is the last season at this level for a few.

Many of our players are either too old or too young...surely most footballers reach their prime somewhere between 22-28, I can't think of many of our players that fall between that age range.

Interestingly Aaron Quain seemed to be able to compete when he came on today...would certainly like to see more of him in the first team.

Unfortunatley I understand that Aaron has a trial at Stockport County in the New Year.

I think you are spot on in your first paragraph TBM.

 

I wonder whether Mr Trott would agree with that,although to be fair not so easy to secure such players though.
