i think he might be first team, but spoke to him after the game and said he wasn't.

In short, as already posted Croydon keeper was MOTM. Croydon seemed to field a side of youngsters who, after an hour had run out of ideas and steam. Am I right in saying they are at the bottom of 2nd div. Gates opener was a bit of a deflection, Croydons was well worked and looked likey for the minutes leading up to it, they then lost interest. Margate were fitter and had the better of the game. Gate should and could have won this several times with at least 3 good chances and sorry to say a saved pen with only mins to go from the 90. Extra time, another pen for 2-1, the flood gates opened as Croydon crumbled as another 2 in the closing minutes. It was a good natured gate, both sides getting on with it. Gate do play some nice football and look well drilled. Good Luck for 2008
