Just a note LC,Basildon Utd injury time equaliser was an own goal from sub Lee Daves that like his Basildon counterpart in the first half, kicked into his own net with nobody around him Well done to Basildon for never giving up and a fair result altough we should have shut the shop up with 45 secs left.I'm sure Basildon will pick up points and they are a good bunch of lads that work hard.Well fought lads and bash those Bowers ....on boxing day

i would like sean francis to be credited with the goal today but yes we have to draw the line somewhere, it was an own goal.i think bowers will be a tighter match than the table would suggest.

This how we saw the first Hullbridge goal, ball came across the penalty area, keeper dived and missed the ball and Francis attempted to clear ball but it deflected off the back of the prostrate keeper into the net. Defintely no Hullbridge involvement so an og

The second Basildon goal was the result was a Francis shot from about ten yards goalwards but deflected off a Hullbridge boot and into net. Given to Francis as it's Christmas.
