just got back from the game and in fairness ashford looked the better side marginally

rollox...that was a bad result for sure....couldn't make it as working again but I was on the fone to nette when they scored in the final minute....seems as tho' it was an off day for the boys but we need to win these type of home games to get into the play offs...

I would say marginal isn't the word UM, more like considerably better than us. It is clear to me that we have played poorly on our own turf for some time now. Either that, or we were just outstanding at Billericay.

We were worth at least a draw. After we equalised we applied tremendous pressure and looked very likely to secure all three points. However, all credit to Ashford who showed the same fighting spirit and tenacity that we saw in our opening game of the season.

 

They were fortunate today - as indeed we may have been fortunate to win 5-4 at their place.

 

What comes around goes around.

 

What is not in doubt is that the lads put in 100% effore (as always) and we are a real force in the Ryman Prem.
