22 Dec - Today's game with Billericay Town is on after a pitch inspection this morning. The playing surface remains frozen in places, but should have thawed in time for kick off.

This is obviously a term not used by the BBC weathermen. If it was, 1987 storm would've been "Hold on to your hats, it's going to be [****!!****] windy"...

It may be 10 degrees in Hastings but not at the ground which is at a pretty high point in Hastings. 10 degrees probably on the coast was 7 degrees at the ground 20 minutes ago.

The pitch has been frozen for 4 days on the stand side of the ground, we have a very tall stand and that side of the ground receives no sun but it is starting to show signs of thawing and should just about be soft by 3pm.
