MYFC Stalling (according to Grauniad) ?

Recommended Posts

Yes, I agree. I assume that his injury will mean that he will not be one of MyFc.cos first transfer targets!!! Shame as I am sure Liam would believe that he could "do a job for us".

I am rather surprised at the time this is taking what with the top talent in the accounting and legal world apparently engaged by our suitors. Perhaps the personnel are doing it as a favour at a reduced charge rate because they are MyFC subscribers (I read this somewhere) and other more remunerative work is also currently being undertaken so has to take precedence? Or all those City Christmas parties getting in the way? After all we now know that there are no significant creditors and that what is owed are "soft loans" which presumably have a relatively short paper trail. Mid-January is not what was expected.

From personal experience as a lawyer performing DD work I can tell you that it is slow going and many unexpected questions crop up.

Its very labour intensive but unfortunatly can't be sped up easily. Its just about sitting down and trawling through contract after contract to see that all the right and obligations etc are correct, matched up to one another and able to be transferred.

Is this lawyer speak for "Its gonna cost someone loads of wonga?"

I suppose if every interested party coughs up £35 or so, that should cover it!
