Some significant games on tonight affecting both ends of the table. Bracknell can close the gap on us but it will be tough as a win for Bridgwater would push them right into the chasing pack at the top. Big game at the top between Fleet and Oxford City too.

Although I would have prefered a defeat - that will do nicely, especially as it was at home.

yeah its a slight worry as bridgwater are quite high but im confident slough can pick up 2 or 3 wins before the january tbh

That player injury at Didcot was a real nasty one by all accounts. It was Burnham player Miles Norman, and this is what Dave Mudge had to say on their forum:

Just to let everyone know the latest situation regarding Miles,i went to the hospital this morning along with Beamsy to pay him a visit and the first signs do not look encouraging,he has sustained a what looks to be a break to his ankle and his leg as well as rupturing his ligaments,he will remain in hospital over the xmas period to allow the swelling to go down,followed by surgery and he will have plates and screws inserted into his leg and ankle,he will then face a very long rehabilitation programme after all this although he was in alot of pain his spirits were remarkably high,we wish him well a hope he will make a full recovery.(DM)
