Great build up to the game

Recommended Posts

It was my first visit to new lodge on Saturday and I enjoyed the commentary inside the clubhouse, it was something different. I think you should be congratulated on the good things as there seems to be a lot of negativity on this forum. Your team were poor and we were good but there's still a long way to go.

Cheers fella! And i have to say that since the clubhouse has been revamped it is more like a pub in that there is announcements, music - BUT and a BIG BUT, it makes people interact with one another rather than places that are more shall we say akin to (a Wetherspoons in yer average high street on a match day) grin Your comments are (imo) really appreciated - And the people who work hard for BTFC (Yes i know i have said it a lot) Are the real ones who deserve those sort of comments.

Anyway, as for (any) negativity, well i look at it that (we) as footie fans of BTFC only want the best for the club. Human beings such as us mere earthlings always react in heat of moment stuff. Yes, even i was laughing on Saturday (note, laughing) that we could not manage a single shot, but that is no different (i bet) to the management. It is called frustration when you know the team is capable of so much more.

However, there was no boos, no abuse of team, and no tunnel incidents wink

At the end of the day, we (as footie fans of BTFC) will turn up in numbers and give the lads our support. I believe we will have a very healthy travelling support to Hastings the weekend before xmas and we will have a laugh - our coaches seem to replace coffee making facilities for something else! grin It will be even better if we won!

Anyway, my little pep talk is done - Thanks for your comments again (the guys who do the work from top to bottom of the club will appreciate them)

Have a good xmas ! (Well it is the season of goodwill aint it) wink

Well put K.P

Looking forward to the Hastings game but will make the trip to the club tonight for the friendly (just to get in a bit of choir practice) V Braintree Town.

Mulled wine for the fans?
