They weren't Grey, well mine wasn't, they were Dark Blue ! Have you been using the right washing powder ?

Dark Blue with a white collar. I wore mine to Oxford, as we were all supposed to be wearing old shirts ! I think I was the only one....hence the attention !!

Cheers,

I was always a Guides fan meself. Cubs never did it for me.

That reminds me of that old joke when we were kids.

What's worse than a girl guide in your pocket..........A brownie in your pants.

Schoolboy humour.

Jeff, you obviously recognise the symmetry of supporting the Cubs and the Fleet. Throw in Spurs and I have, unfortunately, got the Holy Trinity of teams to support. Took the wife and kids to Wrigley for a pilgrimage to attend a double header against the Mets a couple of years ago. Cubs lost both games. Wouldn't have been right, somehow, if they had won.

A bit like Grays away last season.

Grays away last season ? I just remember getting very wet ! and having to be escorted from the bar to the away end, in case of riotous behaviour !!

Wow! I've learnt two things on this topic!

I remember many, many, many years ago watching the 'fleet away at Welling wearing pale blue and white striped shirts and black shorts. But I think there was a [****!!****]-up with the kits on that particular day...

I liked the dark blue Gravesend Reporter shirt myself !

But, not being a member of the "club" my view doesn't count !! I have got used to that over the past few weeks......

Cheers....

Do you have a pic that you can put up here of the Gravesend Reporter shirt?

And you still have a voice, Hirsty... Keep posting here and, at least I will, take it into consideration.

Unfortunately no. Maybe one of the more technologically gifted supporters will have the facility to do this ?
