The award should be given to the runner up in the poll i.m.o. Or did Paul get it for merely "being there"?

 

Paul has proberbly appeared for about 15 minutes in total on the pitch last month & those that are blatantly voting for him undeservedly are not being fair to the other players.

Those that are not being sensible should be ashamed of themselves.

 

Its not clever & its not funny either & its certainly NOT FAIR to the others who have busted a gut each out there on the pitch.!

If you are one of these morons & laughing at this right now, be well ashamed of yourselves.

Players included in ALL polls surely will have to have played a certain amount of minutes or will have produced something "extraordinary" to be included in the polls from now on.

That will NOW be the case with the match-to-match m.o.t.m awards.

(I realise Paul was in the list to be voted for & with it being a democratic system he is entitled to a vote or two for being a part of the team & not turning his back on the club & unluckily for being out of the first team at this time but lets for goodness sake be sensible about this.

This is for PLAYER of the month & in that I take it as a player having played & shown good form on a regular basis or a one off "super show" perhaps. None of these applied here).

Agree Cookie, Paul is a great lad but he has hardly played. Someone appears to be having a laugh by voting for him I reckon!

One idea might be to have a pre-selected list of candidates for voters to pick from based upon who has played and for how long in the month. I'll ask Niki if this is possible - I'm happy to develop a list from the info I collect. I might be wrong but I think the current poll works from the web-site squad listing.
