JC in the Gazette "We have lost David Allen due to his work commitments, which meant that he was unable to make midweek fixtures and training. It is a shame, but we have to thank David for his long service to the club. David has kept a place in the side over the years, and given the club some great performances and commitment. Everybody wishes him well for the future."

Apart from the three times he left.

 

Anyway, shame he's given up.If played right,and if his application had been slightly better,he could have been a player capable of playing at a much higher level.As it is, he was still a big asset to us over many seasons.
