I'm afraid that the alleged tampering with your post cannot be investigated as the necessary tools for such a thing just aren't available to the moderators. Yes but your original post to start this thread didn't mean an awful lot, not to me anyway, as far as I could see you were beaten fair and square at Ruislip Manor in what was your worst and most embarrassing defeat in the SSML so far since you joined last season

Oy Vey!! I can see why you don't rate clever comedians and prefer the likes of Jim Carrey!

Going back to the game. I have never in all my life seen a more one sided game where the poorest team won! We could have played with 11 outfield players and they still wouldn't have scored - until the final seconds when we paid for trying extra hard to get the winner. I give credit to their 16 year old keeper and a very small central defender called Rob Parillon.

rhodes as I was there and you weren't I think I can comment better on the game than you can. It was as the Hertford guys and MB100 would agree was one of those games that occur quite regularly in football when one team has the majority of the game but for a number of reasons fails to get the result that their performance on the day merits. (England v Poland in 1973 being a classic example if taken purely on balance of play but Polska that night like Manor on Saturday defended superbly which has to be acknowledged)

 

In this case I would also suggest some uncharacteristic wayward finishing by Hertford had a lot to do with it mixed with maybe a little complacency on the part of the visitors
