Whilst Tickner had a good game I thought that Steve was outstanding his probing passes often whilst under pressure were tremendous.

Very pleased to see Velendia playing well.He always does when Rudi is not playing.Trouble is, Rudi is not an ideal partner for Stevie in the middle.So he either gets dropped or put out wider where he is not as effective.The sollution is to play one or the other depending who is currently on form. Rudi will always be an automatic start with Jim,leaving steve sidelined and lacking in confidence and regular starts.

The problem is that Steve probably already knows that he only has three first team starts before Rudi comes back, irrespective of how well he plays. Shame really as he is the only player, in my humble opinion, who can ping the ball to players. Talk about motivation!
