Alan Taffy no one has warned me about anything I take it your not aloud to critcise the club or the Directors what's the point of the forum do we all have to agree with everything, I beleive the club owes me one small favour for what I have done for the club in the past, Perhaps you would advise what aloud and whats not.

Coffin Ender I hope you are never ill The Directors were only moaning the other week about how low the gates were perhaps if they allowed people like me who had to retire early on medical advise and forced to live on a limited income in at the reduced rate of £6 it would help both

I have to say i did read the content of this post earlier, and i couldnt see anything wrong with it to be honest.

This is a Margate FC forum if any of us have a gripe with club this is as good a place as any to sound it out.

I think most of us will have got the gist of this thread by now. I don't generally get involved in the politics of the way the club is run ( apart from "what's happening with the [****!!****] stadium?") but have criticised when necessary the manager, players and certain performances and got abuse for it. Unfortunately there are people who love the club soooo much they won't let you have an alternative opinion from theirs and a couple of these are mods so you only get their thoughts and not your own.

 

Anyway, this is not a place for debate-it's just a place to post stupid icons and shout bundle.

Ok, in my wisdom as a Moderator I decided this is a personal issue against the club chairman which I believe should be sorted between the two of them. I did send you a personal message Mr Tee, but maybe as you are new to the forum you do not realise where to look for it.

 

If other fans do not like the way I moderate then be my guest and take over the reins because it isn't easy and in the past have let a lot go. As for the fun that is had on here that IMO lightens the forum up a bit especially as I have ben the butt of most of it the last few days, which I have had a good laugh about.

Life is harsh. If you do favours to people you should never expect to receive anything in return.

Part of the difficulty of todays society is what is a 'Senior Citizen'. Under the defenetion of the goverment when it comes to winter fuel payments it is when you reach the age of 60 (regardless of sex). The local council also reconises 60 with the issue of the bus pass. However, when it comes to pensions then for a male this is 65 whereas for a woman at present it is 60 but over the next few years it wiil increase to 65 (my wife for instance pensionable retirement age is 60 and 9 months).

So what I would say in conclusion the club must state a definate age to receive the concession rate (this should also be the same for both sexes).

Oh and by the way I do know of supporters (who are male) who only pay £6 and they are between the ages of 60 and 65.

Well said Taffy.

I think (but am not sure) that when a moderator was requested, Taffy was the majoritys choice.

No one is going to agree with him 100% of the time, buts thats life and after all he is just doing what he thinks is best !!

So keep up the good work
