Great news Jimmy really deserves the call up.

The questions now are does anyone know if the match is

being televised and if so will the club bar be open to

show it?

JACKSON’S THRILLER ENGLAND CALL-UP

England National Game XI manager Paul Fairclough has had to make three changes to his squad for tomorrow night’s international against Holland in Beek en Donk on the outskirts of Eindhoven.

As the current season builds up to a thrilling climax - no-where more so than in the Nationwide Conference with the scramble for play-off places – Fairclough has had to stomach the loss today of experienced central defender Terry Skiverton, combative midfielder Darren Way, and mercurial striker Junior McDougald.

Skiverton had to be substituted after only 23 minutes of Yeovil Town’s away win on Saturday against Margate after a clash of heads left him requiring stitches, and his place has been taken by Gravesend & Northfleet’s experienced midfielder Jimmy Jackson.

Jackson is the ‘Fleet’s’ longest serving player, having made over 400 appearances after joining his hometown club from Charlton Athletic in 1994.

Joining him in the scrap for midfield places is Yeovil Town’s Lee Johnson. Johnson captained England in their 3-2 defeat against Italy last November and comes into the squad to replace fellow Glover Darren Way, who missed Saturday’s game against Margate with a stomach complaint.

The third change is up front, where Junior McDougald’s withdrawal gives Aldershot’s top-scorer Roscoe d’Sane another chance to add to his growing reputation.

D’Sane scored England’s goal in last months defeat to the Belgium Under-20 side in Ostend, and constantly troubled the Belgian defence after entering the fray in the second half.

He will put pressure on Barnet’s Junior Agogo and Northwich Victoria’s Gregg Blundell who have both hit 19 goals each this season for a place in the starting XI.

Tomorrow night’s game kicks off at the home ground of BV Sparta 25 at 7.30pm and www.TheFA.com will carry a full match report and post-match analysis from Manager Paul Fairclough on Wednesday morning.
