Didn't see the first half, apparently Craig scoring a superb goal was our only highlight.

 

In the second half Joe took a very good long volley from across the field and fired in his own excellent shot, not sure their keeper even saw it. However he did well to save a penalty from Craig near the end. The ref tried to compensate for giving two incorrect goal kicks by awarding us a corner that wasn't. And we had a couple more shots saved.

And, er, that was pretty much the highlights.

 

Wasn't pretty, and we didn't look great. So I guess we're happy with 3 points but we can play a lot better. Conditions weren't great, mind: the pitch was virtually frozen solid and so were most of us.

 

-- the players were trying hard in the half I saw, also: still chasing and pressing. Just not really very effectively. And it didn't help when a few times we did break well and then got called back for free kicks (to us)...
