Very interesting. Perhaps we could call it a consultation evening. I doubt Jason and the Argonauts could elaborate any further on what is happening than what we already know.

Thats a great reason NOT to go!! I can see it turn into a complete slanging match! And, I would almost guarantee that no new information is forthcoming... Any questions the board dont want to answer will be met with a reply saying "During Due Diligence we cannot say anymore on this..!

I think it will be a total and utter waste of time and as such I have absolutely no intention of going.

This board of so called directors have already shown that they care more about self publicity than the clubs supporters. Quite clearly if they were really interested in the supporters views on the MyFc farce thay would have had a meeting before now, at the very least they should have consulted with the clubs share holders before it ever got to this stage.

The meeting will be a sham, just like the so-called consultation night about the name change.

Brian Clough's quote seems most appropriate "we'll sit down and discuss it and then agree that I was right"

It's a done deal. The decision is made, they won't change their mind at this stage.

The club and its supporters have been sold down the river, may they all rot in hell!

I do love a stoush!

Just Googled "stoush" which only seems to come up in stories related to Australia (eg "A full scale political stoush is brewing ..".) Presumably it means a huge row. Hopefully, things will not degenerate into a slanging match, but I think a frank no holds barred debate will be a good thing. People shouldn't be afraid to ask difficult questions, but there's no point in turning up thinking that the loudest most aggressive voice will win the argument.

PS I was sad & did Latin at school, so I've just wasted even more of my employer's time puzzling over your signature Mr Mick & I reckon there's a typo in the final word? If it's to be translated as "Bullsh*t baffles brains," then I think it should be "excreta tauri cerebrum vincit." However, as I last went to a Latin lesson over 35 years ago, I could be wrong. Oh, b*gger, better get back to some work.
