Unc's Verdict ...

 

We were by far the better team and played some of the best football we have played all season. We were strong and confident and for much of the game made the opposition look ordinary.

 

Ramsgate game plan seemed to be simply to try and kick us off the park until their goal came. Some of the challenges were really 'X rated' and totally over the top.

 

Their bench was highly animated throughout the game and their tactics seemed to be to bully the referee who at best was very weak.

 

The atmosphere was not very pleasant and Ramsgate will win few friends if they continue to adopt this kind of approach.

 

Sadly, we should have claimed all three points tonight and would have done but for the defensive mix up. The team put in a sterling effort and should take great heart from their performance. It all bodes well for our Saturday trip to Billericay.
