Prediction League Week 20

PS I don't understand why when teams have games in hand they aren't playing midweek to catchup?

Sun have got 22 games to play and there are 20 Saturdays until the end of the season. I'd rather be playing catch up in March or April than Dec/Jan when games are more likley to be called off late midweek. The league ought to "get ahead" of schedule by playing midweeks in September & October to allow for a bad winter & potential backlog at the end of the year.

Tringarmy - Are you looking forward to your visit to the Copthall Stadium on Saturday weather permitting

The forecast indicates no more rain between now & the weekend, so I'll see you on Saturday. Kentish is one of the few places I've not visited in the SSMFL. After the weekend it will just be 4 teams in Div 2 for a full house!

Far too late for me, NF! I finish work at 4pm and tonight I went straight from work to the Champions League game at Chelsea and didn't get home until 11pm, only seeing this just now. If you can't get fixtures up at least 24 hours before the games are due to be played, they shouldn't go up at all.

Yesterday, I made a special point of checking for the Ruislip prediction before going out to West Ham reserves and it wasn't there. Tonight when I'm unable to check them, games suddenly pop up. If we can't get consistency in when these matches go up, then I don't see any point in continuing my participation!

Football Man - What's wrong with an internet cafe en route from your place of work to Stamford Bridge, I'm sure you had a bit of time to kill as it wouldn't take you three hours and forty five minutes. Anyway shame on you for going to Chelsea and serves you right for seeing a nil nil bore, why do you continuously sell your sole to the devil. How much was your ticket out of interest, £50 plus no doubt!

clip Rods - as I didn't know the predictions had been put up, why would I be looking for an internet connection en route? As for the game at Chelsea, it wasn't what I would consider a "bore" and was a lot better than the 0-0 I saw the night before. And, as for you wildly exaggerated guess at the ticket price, it shows how out of touch you are with the modern pricing policies of most clubs for cup-ties.

I think they announced on the build up on ITV4 that Chelsea had slashed prices at Champions League games to £25 after the debacle of charging £47 for the Rosenborg game which the club admitted was an error.

Football Man - So how much did you pay for your ticket, even £25 is a bit steep in my opinion to watch a meaningless game unless Chelsea allowed children in for a fiver. That's why the early rounds of the League Cup are good value with adult tickets usually a tenner and accompanied children a fiver but even then I still wouldn't sell my soul to the devil as you do.
