EFM Just 90 Minutes From Clarence Park

Only a League Cup Semi-Final against Crooked Billet stands between EFM and Clarence Park this morning, after EFM beat Blackberry Jacks in yesterday's Quarter-Final.

The game was still goalless with just two minutes of extra time remaining, when Ben Griffiths let one fly from outside the box, and beat the keeper with a contender for Goal Of The Season (although it wasn't as good as mine against Three Lions )

Can EFM do the impossible, and beat 1st Division Crooked Billet on April 6th (oops - day after Canvey ) to take their place in the League Cup Final at Clarence Park?

And will John Gibson come to watch??

Team: Wilkins, Fadhel, Wood, Chard, Costello, R.Ashley, Haggerty (Griffiths), Cornish, Jones (D.Allen), Pendred, Holmes

Has Jon Sherwood got my registration forms ready for me to sign and pay up yet??

How many subs are you allowed for the semi-final? Any chance of me making the bench?

Come to think of it, it looks like I'm just jumping on the bandwagon now, doesn't it?

Congratulations to the boys in yellow and blue (EFM) after their win, by the way.

Fair enough. How many matches does one have to play in to play in the final? How many matches are left?

Oi Zeal. Is there anyone who is registered who can't play in the semi-final? If so, I could pretend to be them.

You forgot unused sub - Thorns, CZ!

And special mention must go to Fadhel who was up all night in London with me and went straight to play.

I finally got to bed on Sunday night at 2330 that's a record (for me, I thnk) 42 hours awake.

I did get their autographs (well I sent my 14yr old cousin over), Wayne Rooney was just swamped as soon as Everton finisihed training, wonder if Rooney picked up any new tips from watching us, he certainly had a good game on Sunday afternoon against the Woolwich Gypsies.
