MKJames - Have we crossed paths, were you at the Copthall Stadium earlier in the season for a game, you're obviously very knowledgable about the beautiful game at our level

I wouldn't say very knowledgable, but I have learnt over the years that not having something (anything!) to eat/drink before you get to a game is chancing it. There's also some clubs that are extremely generous to the players after the game, and some that aren't, and it doesn't seem to matter what level of football it is.

clip Rods, weren't Kentish Town employing a psychiatrist at the time? Didn't she advise the players to eat a breakfast on the morning of a match (feed the mind, etc.)?
