Posting from phone so might go bit wierd. They kicked us off the park for 80 mins and had one player sent off. We then gave some back and had a player sent off for nothing. Our player was told to stay next to the pitch as it was to dangerous for him to go down the tunnel alone. At the end our players were abused by about 200 fans surrounding the fence. One steward even had a go. Spitting and looked like punches thrown at out players. Ref was prob paid off by fat jef who came over and started abusing our fans.

I wonder if that was Loco having a go!

What a den of iniquity that Melbourne Park is. Boy, am I glad I'm in a position not to attend on matchdays, especially when those sweet innocent Angels fans are in attendance.

BTW Ryan - I understand that "Loco" was instrumental in ensuring that the mass brawl involving some 300 odd fans and players (usually termed as "handbags") didn't get completely out of hand.

Please do not listen to everything that TAFCmike has to say, he has been known to exagerate quite a few things in the past and, has often logged onto forums just to post random abuse, he seems to take it on himself to start arguments, and MUST finish every argument. Where as in real life he is actually a rather nice kid (17 yr old)

We supporters of Chelmsford City

Bearer of no good wishes are we

To other teams, please don't turn up

It's the only way we'll win a cup

Singing…

It's no wonder

It's no surprise

When we're at home. We make no noise

Our support is limited

To threats on the forum

And we're the original BBB Boys.

(to the tune "We Three Kings"

Indeed Keith - I'd stay well away from the tunnel at the end of the game on the 29th if I were you!

As far as the tunnel incedent is concerned, I wasn't there to witness it, so can't comment. However, a relatively unbiased account can be found in pjstock46's posting timed at 20-23 on 09/12/07 here:-

balmoral, im not sure why you guys keep on going on about spending loads of money on a covered tunnel that would indeed be lengthy, a much more viable approach would be to put some of thos temporary crowd barrier railing things (like the ones along the running track) and have a corridor 2 metres each side of the tunnel you, the fans cant get close to the players, not many can spit that far, and it wont be as claustraphobic, 3 stewards easch side of the tunnel spotting the loonies, once caught they get a 3 game ban from home matches, it will soon irradicate the problem!!!

was gonna post this on your forum mate but i havent had the confirm email thingy yet smile

I like Tonbridge. Nice ground, good food without a massive queue, loads of free parking. Never had any problems with the locals. Same with Bromley. What is it about Chelmo that they make so many enemies?

You certainly DON'T Gazza. But I would think that such things as envy and jealousy feature in the equation somewhere.
Whoops! - now I've done it!

Suggest you contact Gazza and ask whether you can borrow his hoe, Keith. He's offered to lend it to ME on a couple of occasions when I raked over old ground!

What, exactly, are Clarets so envious & jealous of, that it leads them to make so many enemies? I mean, they've almost got their own ground now. It has it's shortcomings, but we don't throw that in their faces wink . Is it seeing other Ryman sides on TV that's causing all the ill will? Well, I'm sure your day will come. Next season it could be your turn to be the side from the Ryman Prenier that makes it onto Sky. Weren't planning on going anywhere were you?
