Officer Dibble - Why are you even bothering to entertain Lendal.

Incidentally you must be rubbing your hands at the big boys all dropping points of late and you're still only six points off top spot although I think it will be a damage limitation exercise for you at Stony Stratford on Saturday.

Rhodes

You still still a bit sore from two recent defeats including a shock one at Cranfield.

Well shame for stony stratford that our first team have no fixture saturday!!

They may or may not take the fixture!

That would set the cat amongst the pigeons!

Anyway whatever happens our young reserves have done very well this season. Bearing in mind they are a reserve team!!!!

Quote:

Saturday 8 December 2007
Spartan South Midlands League Division 1
Cranfield United 3 Kentish Town 2
This result must surely be added to the list of historic turn up for books such as Walsall v Arsenal, Hereford v Newcastle, Wrexham v Arsenal and Birmingham v Altrincham

Officer Dibble - You're certainly not wrong where you describe our defeat at Cranfield on Saturday as a shock as the extract from our match report above reflects. Anyway thanks for tipping us all off that you intend to play your first team on Saturday at Stony Stratford although no doubt the news has already filtered through to Ostlers Lane. Make sure you're prepared for the walk from the changing room to the pitch, take plenty of food and water when you set out.

I thought you were serious however if your First Team Manager can somehow be persuaded to draft a number of his players into your team for Saturday then I think that will be a good move and very much to your benefit. Stony Stratford are flying at the moment and your young team could be overwhelmed, their target man Darren Dykes is on fire and your defence will no doubt struggle to contain him.

No but presumably Cheshunt have someone overseeing the First Team, it wouldn't surprise me if Gordon Boateng threw his hat into the ring although obviously he will be way out of his depth at that level.

Your post clearly demonstrates that you simply haven't a clue about non-league football, at your lowly level or indeed any other. If you are looking to progress yourself in football you are sadly deluded. You just about get away with it where you are and your cocooned knowledge of the teams around you. That is all you know, and even then you repetetively prove that you are as daft as a box of frogs.

I'm thinking of banning you for the crime of insulting the intelligence of everyone else on this forum.

Really, I would be interested to hear who they are, if Gordon can't cut it at Harlow Town and jumps ship as soon as the going gets tough it's not exactly going to encourage Club's at the top end of the Pyramid to take him on.

Why can't Gordon just cut his teeth in Management at Step 5 level first and be patient instead of trying to run before he can walk, okay it's admirable to be ambitious and sometimes you can be in the right place at the right time however clearly you have to be up to the job and Gordon isn't as yet. He still has a lot to learn particularly about handling and understanding players as I am reliably informed he ruffled quite a few feathers at Harlow with an over zealous approach.

Like I said you stick to your park football with your park football coaches and let Gordon get on with his thing. Dont know Gordon but everyone I have spoken to rates him highly as a coach and a person. Maybe a coach like that would get KTFC out of their division?

Thanks for the tip on how to put our young team together for Sat's match at Ostler's Lane.

But I am puzzled as to why our defence will be over run!

We managed very well against Jon Donoghue (wondered what all the fuss was about!) & Lee Scott (albiet it was his first game back)

in our comfortable 4-2 win over you at the world class facilities at copthall stadium.

Meanwhile you lost 5-3 to Stony Stratford and you are giving me advice....it should be a close game...despite you thinking we will get a drubbing...with the young team we plan to put out!

Just to dispel the gordon boateng story....he has not been mentioned in dispatches at CFC for the managers job.

But again I am puzzled as to why Gordon or any manager would need to cut his teeth at step 5 level b4 moving on to better things....if you are good enough to get a chance...take it!

Believe me it easier working with better players........
