Anyway back to the 5 a sides. Well done to the club and Generation Sports for organising the day. Lots of youngsters there with Mums n Dads so hopefully will be back to use them and come along and support Margate.

Well glad to see they have finaly got this project done and dusted, now how about the ground? or at least something down the Coffin End?

Am pleased that this has been accomplished and as stated above it would be nice to have an update from the club about how we plan to progress with the ground etc.

Good stuff Taffy, and please keep it dry for 5th January as my grandson will be mascot for the day against Ashford (Middlesex) I am coming across bought the flights and hire car so a postponement will be expensive.

I could not go yesterday as i had to work. But i got drenched Saturday on the gate for the reserve game which was called off when the ref deigned to turn up.

During this time i witnessed the rings KP, Vicky were climbing through to get it as ready as possible for the opening day. The guys working on the fencing, plumbing, electric, and the pitch surfaces. Also Jackie and Charles who put in a full day cleaning up the showers, changing rooms and sponsors areas.

All this to make it a successful day.
