An excellent game today at the ol Stadium against a very strong Leyton Pennant team who, I understand, are running away with the league.

 

Urchins took the lead midway through the first half from the penalty spot to be followed by three goals from Pennant, the second, a header, being clearly offside.

 

Urchins hit back a minute from half time to give them heart for the second half.

 

The equaliser was tucked home in the corner although once again looking offside, to even matters up.

 

Several chances went begging for us after which followed an amazing turned down penalty appeal for what was a clear pull back in the box.

 

However, overall a great game and a few pointers for the future.

max how do u think the future looks without naming names was theres players that stood out what about suppport how many over there, also what about the boys that werent playing how did they conduct themselves>?

who on earth was that cretin......where do they come from......

 

anyway...there were three or four potentially good players out there on sunday but its always difficult to tell as younger players can have poor games one day and excellent the next....a one off match isn't enough to make a judgement...their managers will do that....positive though...

 

the crowd was mostly mums and dads etc but about 70 or so I would think...we took a few quid in the urchins bar thats for sure.......

 

behaviour of the lads...excellent...smartly dressed (those not playing) and sitting in the stand behind the dug out....nice day and also a good result...3-3 to the urchins....!!

The lads were very impressive, I thinhk its Tony at no 9

was a bit special

 

Also the back four played well together

lol nice 1 how u guess it was me i was very smart thanks of course desginer shirts the lot i as the best looking player on the team mearly stood out from the rest that why i werent playing cus they needed some style in the stands <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> see ya!
