Perhaps not but it was over 60 years ago and Leipzig is now one of the most modern cities in the World, anyway that's exactly what our bombardment of Cranfield United's penalty area was like. Why didn't you also pick up on my Walsall v Arsenal comparison, you could argue that was also offensive to Arsenal fans who were at Fellows Park that day.

How can you possibly compare a semi professional football teams attack with the round the clock bombing of a city..or is just another example of your total crass stupidity.

As for the Walsall reference well presumably you were inferring that Cranfield beating KTFC was some kind of similar giant killing feat, well not really as you are both in the same division and you would appear on current results to be little better than them. In 1933 Arsenal were widely regarded as one of the top teams in the country while Walsall were in the lower reaches of the Third Division South so it would be akin to say KTFC beating Aldershot in a cup tie. I also fail to see how any reference to that is OFFENSIVE to Arsenal fans (I suggest as was previously mentioned you check the meaning of that word out in a dictionary) but then of course I don't habit rhodesworld were nothing makes sense except that which doesn't.

Lato - As always I take you comments onboard and more often than not respect what you say however on the other side of the coin you never cease to amaze me. I'm referring of course to your unbelievable comment about Jim Carey and not finding his humour funny, you surely can't be serious and must be saying that purely to get a reaction.

rhodes read and digest.

I find Peter Sellers funy but you don't

I don't like Jim Carrey but you obviously do

its called a difference of opinion..why can't you accept this instead of making it out as usual to be such a crime not to agree with you and your opinions.

When it comes to saying things to provoke a reaction I bow to your superior ability in such matters.

Point taken but there are few funnier people on the planet than Jim Carey, I'm sure 99.9% of members would agree with that, sorry 99.99%. Does Spidermanor like him out of interest.

I have no idea and to be honest I don't really care if he does or not..why don't you PM him and ask him if you are that desperate to know.

You don't do this with other officials

I've been known to do it for Ben Furneaux and I'll certainly be doing it for Geoff Garham in future, you're not in a minority of one

As I'm not on Spartan League duty this Saturday, I may get a bit of peace and quite from you for a while.

Yes but I see that you're officiating at the London Colney v Broxbourne Borough fixture the following week so I will naturally be asking our Broxbourne friends on here for a Don Revie style dossier on your performance. I then note with concern that you are on the Haringey Borough v Sport London e Benfica game on 29 December and we are deliberating whether to ask Mick Ewen to replace you as you live in Haringey and have close links at Coles Park.

Sorry, am I reading this right?

A Haringey supporter is threatening to complain because one of Haringey's future match officials lives in Haringey and has close links to the club?

Whilst I'm sure that PTG will officiate in his usual fair and even-handed manner, surely as a Haringey supporter those circumstances are something you should keep quiet about and take delight in, as it will give you the rose-tinted impression that something may be going in your club's favour?

Should I be concerned? Not in the slightest.
I'm sure Peter will do a fine job!

No I'm not suggesting that at all, Mr Panayotiou had a reasonable game when we played Stony Stratford Town recently.
