Another fine performance. We have played two of the top three teams in the past few games gaining a win at home and a clean sheet away.

I thought the two new lads on the left had another good game, if they continue to impress, then I would have thought that they would both be in with a chance of becoming official first team squadies.

Another superb 90 from Burbs, and Booty run bits off for the team yesterday. Leon had a great game. It was a shame Heffs turned up late grin but when he did arrive he was solid as usual.

The whole team worked very hard yesterday in heavy conditions 10/10 the team

Sterling stuff, Well done lads excited

Hendon came out of the blocks at express pace and we were under the cosh for the first 10 or 15 minutes. Thankfully we managed to hold firm and seemed to come into it more as the half went on.

Second half both sides created chances, the best of them being Hendon crashing a shot against the bar (not dissimilar to goals we conceded against Swansea and Wealdstone...hmmmmm) and Burbs somehow managed to get the ball over the bar from about five yards.

I thought we were just about worth our point although some Hendon fans might disagree, but the ref was trying to set a world record for highest number of consecutive decisions for one team.

MoTM for me was Macca, unbelievable clearance off the line in the first half and agree that Booty has fired into top gear in the last couple of games. I actually thought Burbs had his weakest game since returning to the starting line-up and depending on the bodies we have available I might look to push BWG up with Booty on Tuesday.

All in all a pleasing result and a gritty determined performance. Three points Tuesday would be rather handy.

I thought all the lads did extremeley well on a pitch that was exceptionally heavy a probably should not have been played on. agree Booty ran his socks off and JL perhaps you should look at the bigger picture Burbs was unlucky not to score having done extremeley well to slide in and get any sort of connection on a ball that was fizzed in. bear in mind that he is being asked to defend every thing that is being thrown into our box AND get on the end of every thing that is thrown into the oppositions box, and on a pitch like Hendons that is a awfull lot to expect of the lad. Also agree that the left hand side is now looking a lot better balanced, it is nice to see the new boys are not afraid to knock the ball in to feet instead of just lumping everything forward and expecting the lads up top to make something of it.

The mini-revival continues. We rode our luck at times but had Burbridge tucked his chance away, we could've taken all 3 points. Great run from BWG in the first half, took it round just about every Hendon player before slipping at last! We look a much more balanced side, but we need to get some of the injured players back to add a bit more steel and give us options on the bench. Burbridge IMO, is clearly not fit enough and BWG struggled in the second half on the heavy pitch, which is why I was suprised we didn't make any changes. Superb committment and a deserved point.

How is that not looking at the bigger picture big un? Burbs has now played ninety minutes in three consecutive games which is probably about what he's managed in the whole of the rest of the season put together. IMO he looked less effective today so looking at the bigger picture it would make sense to give him a rest rather than flog him through another 90 on Tuesday (provding we can find someone else to get on the pitch).

a great team performance by all the lads against an excellent side on a difficult pitch. jack had another good day in goal making two saves at the feet of attackers when it would be easy to give away a pen. macca and heffs were as solid as rocks vs a very quick attack. on the left the new partnership again worked well Neil looking very secure, shame nobody noticed him in the reserves earlier. bwg was great on right getting behind the defence several times and defending well in 2nd half. burbs and boot ran their socks off and JD and Leon were very solid in the middle.

Well done all the team inc Grant and Jason and lets move on to tonbridge with confidence that we can play football and get results.

Impressive display. The work ethic kicked back in and with a heavy pitch i thought both teams did try to play football. I too am becoming more impressed with Neil. Pleasing to now have two clean sheets on the spin.

All round work ethic there lads - well done to ALL !

This is with all the injuries we have presently so could we just be coming into a return of form again. (did that not happen last December) wink

Anyway, another really tough game awaits on Tuesday, so all we can do is keep trying.

C'mon Blues !

I bet there will be some calf muscles "singing" yesterday...

But what can anyone add to the above posts? Nothing. Maybe not the best game of football but that doesn't take it away from the effort the whole team put in, in conditions that were very heavy.

5 points from 9 and Jason and Grant have yet to lose a game.

Well done lads.
