Merv
Have to agree about the Bedford songsters. Have to agree that, at the end of the day, it don't amount to a hill of beans. Perhaps we ought to put Bedford fans at the top of some sort of league table - Best singers - Bedford Town Best haircuts - Grays Athletic Best manicured finger-nails - Hampton & RB Smartest suits - Boreham Wood... Like I said, it don't amount to a hill of beans. What might be important though, is the most polite and friendliest visitors to the Lane. I found the Port Vale crowd friendly and entertaining, the Gravesend mob were noisy but not foul-mouthed and the fans from Chester seemed to fit in well. From that we may also have to ask, what is the Canvey behaviour like when we go abroad? What about the swearing and abuse that eminates from some of our lads (if it's genuinely funny, I don't count it. OK Tony?). I know that we are always very well behaved in other clubs' bars, but what is the impression we leave on the terrace?
Colin Zeal EFM
Quote: You seem obsessed with the facts that you can sing. Well done, you were by far the best singing opposition we have had down the Lane this season. So far! April 5th looms!!
Matt H
I don't think I've ever heard anyone complain about the behaviour of our fans. If they have it's cause they're a small club that don't like to be out numbered by the away fans. They just think we whine all the time!! Every team sings a some point during a game...ok maybe not Purfleet, but our 'abusive' songs come from being provoked by the other fans. When Bedford started singing "You're gonna win f**k all" then our fans reply giving them a few hand gestures and all. Most of our singing is aimed and boosting the morale of the players. "Come on Canvey" and "Yellow Army" ringing through the ground must get their heads clear. If I had wanted to support a team whos songs were purely to wind up the opposition fans I would've gone to watch Grays. Still at least I know now why Amazon.co.uk based their UK branch in Bedford...Couldn't get any closer to the inhabitants of a rainforest could you. Watch out Jungle.com could be there next!! Matt CIFC

Guest
Quote: some of their better behaved fans apologized for their team and disgusting supporters. Really I cant belive that I'm afraid, what about the team/fans were they apologizing for, the way we took 4 points off you or the way we completely out sung your 500 mutes? Guest
Quote: Normally I can remember a couple of reasonable moves from opposing teams but I struggled to remember anything from Bedford. Just one more thing about this post, if Bedofrd did nothing then why did I read the following on your match report Matt's Man of the Match Danny Potter After all he is your keeper, how could he be a man of the match contender if we didnt do anything?

Bald_Eagle
I think you'll find that you would require at least 5 plus the bonus ball for such a fund.
Merv
Oh dear Bedford. Now you've brought the whole tone of the thread down to your level. Let's start throwing insults at Jeff King. Wow! That sure is clever argument and debate, isn't it?
