This kind of thing could not work on a week-by-week basis. It would have to be the whole season, or not at all.

I agree and I specifically made the point that members would have to pay on a season and that it wouldn't work on a game-by-game basis.

Pat - I am not one of the people that is overly interested in the internet side of things - for me it is a tool to be used. The internet has facilitiate the putting together of MyFC it couldn't have happened without it. But there are many members who are interested in taking the internet side of things to the limit. There has been significant interest in live streaming from many members (particularly those overseas). While I have watched a live stream of Denver Broncos games on the internet I do prefer my football the old-fashioned way - at the ground or, if necessary, on the tele. So my cool attitude towards live streaming may not be that significant. But I do fail to see the necessity and the effort that will be required - again a personal opiion.

I missed most of this thread originally (have been gone for a week), so I don't know where the idea was vetted of changing the game times to convenience MyFC members who want to watch it live via streaming (or whatever).

I agree with Dom that such an idea is ridiculous and would vote against it. (10:00 am is kickoff time for me and I build my Saturdays around it.)

To be fair to Setanta, how many North Americans had heard of the Blue Square leagues before the MyFC interest? And then, how many would have an interest in enough of the teams to warrant showing the games?
I can't imagine it would have cost Setanta much more to get the N American rights to BSP games - so am putting "their" lack of interest down to "yours"
