Thanks for posting this - as a 'sensible' MyFC member I'm glad that Ed Miller takes a similar standpoint to myself.

Spotting Ed Miller is a game regularly played at home matches.

Chris normally wins as he has more to fear from Ed than most.

Why is Mr Miller and almost everyone else so concerned when it comes to MyFC members picking the team?

I cannot for the life of mine understand why.

It is eleven players in the starting lineup.

Around nine of those will be a no brainer to pick even for MyFCs members on a more or less consistant basis.

It will leave at average 1-2 players to have any sort of debate on.I recon in over 90% of those cases,Daishs suggestions will win out.

This is the most likely scenario IMHO,it then reduces the MyFC picking of the team til virtually a non issue.

Then why keep people getting hanged up on this matter more than any others?

I admit,I do not understand it at all.

A non issue in all likelyhood is the main issue for so many.

Now,the real issue as I see it is MyFC members picking the tactics.There is a much more real issue to debate and perhaps slander!

er....maybe that is because we (me !) are a bit worried about people having input into team matters that:-

 

a) don't care about the team and are just treating it as a christmas toy.

have an interest in our opponents camp i.e. supporters of other Conference teams

c) have no idea about what football is about even if a ball hit them up the a*se.

 

...other than that everything is ticketyboo !! NOT !

Surely they are one of the same, it is no good picking a team, then picking tactics that won't work with that team, and vice versa?
The manager/coach works with these players day in day out, and should know what he is talking about, when it comes to these matters.
Now 20 however thousand, who never see the training, never see more than one live game a month, or longer, are suddenly experts and know best! BULLSH!T!
I have been slated for not having seen a game live for seven years...............But you don't see, or hear me, criticising players or tactics!

There will be a system in place where we'll see taped sessions of the practices and of the matches. Live, probably not since that may cost an arm and a leg to do that. But the tools will be there to make the picks - if you choose to use them and if you choose to pick the team/tactics.
