You say that a new manager will be appointed soon.

Hopefully he will get the backing of you supporters and not continual criticism that we noted on this website in our time following the Rebels.

Thankfully this has never been the case at Hillingdon even when there have been bad run of results, not even from our loyal bins.

In recent times with the exception of David Kemp all your managers got hounded by the supporters even Brian McDermot at times.

Les Briley, Graham Roberts & Steve Browne suffered the most when perhaps encouragement was needed.

Eddie Denton and Darren Wilkinson were really up against it with regard to the financial position at the club but they received unsavoury criticism at times on this website which was totally unfair.

Martyn Deaner was hounded terribly in our time there which was really annoying, did he not keep the club alive since the Thorne era?

Please get behind your new manager when he is appointed for the sake of Slough Town FC.

No doubt we will meet up again next season.
