Just read your thread on last nights match.

The price of the tea is £1 and David told us that the burger & chips was four pounds.

We think the clubhouse is exceptional certainly an improvement before the re-furbish. Sue for god sake stop winging.

It was nice to read the Brighton Rebel stating that the Boro are a decent team and he was not even there last night.

Little disappointed that not one e-mail has mentioned that Boro played well over the two games.

We followed the Rebels for some ten years during and after the original Boro demise and sadly this unsporting Rebel fans reflection of matches remain.

Cmon rebel fans give Boro a little bit of credit on two good league performances.

Even David was gracious in defeat when he left the ground.

However Good Luck for the rest of the season, the Rebels will always be special to us.

OK - Thank you very much for taking 6 points and a cup win off us, plus the gate takings from all the Slough fans at your largest gate so far this season - how much more sporting do you want us to be - ok you can also have David to boost the lack of supporters - is there anything else you would like from us to show how sporting we are?

Hillingdon - more bins than fans!

you are quite right and you look a decent team, im sorry if my post was one you were refering to, i think its because you have such a large ground that it is going to look a bit empty, anyway plenty of room for development for when you go up the leagues,

and i wouldnt be surprised if you dont sneak into the play-offs you looked very solid and dangerous going forward.

I actually think we're generally quite sporting in defeat. Lord knows we've had enough of them over the last few seasons, and we cope quite well. The 'we're a biggish club' mentality has died down an awful lot in my opinion and now I find that people normally tend to highlight the deficiencies in our own side before talking down the opposition.

I haven't commented on last night's game because I wasn't there. However in previous posts I have commented that I think Hillingdon will rise up the table and that they are a decent side, currently in a false position. So there, if it's praise you wanted, there's one of us giving it. And I mean it.

A few of us do whinge now and again I do accept! But if people comment on away grounds then maybe it's because we actually travel in numbers to away grounds to see for ourselves. You don't get from many other clubs where the average away support barely reaches double figures.

It's not always criticism, sometimes merely observations. And as always, everyone's got an opinion... including you, which is why you're here.

Sorry guys you can call it winging if you like but in Slough we call it whinging. The club house is definitely better as the last time we were at your place it was closed. Anyway I never said it wasnt nice I just said the lights done my head in and that the big screen nearly knocked Phil out, just my opinion.

The club house has been done up very nicely but for me it isn't anything like a football clubhouse and the general comment was that it was like a Lloyds No. 1 bar which is fine if you like that sort of thing.

Anyway I know it must be very hard being the only Hillingdon supporters and therefore very difficult to audibly praise your players. However, it is not the Slough supporters job to praise Hillingdon for playing well although it was notable that we were the only people who clapped the Hillingdon subs on Tuesday night.

In the four encounters this season there have been two closely fought games and two comprehensive victories for Hillingdon. I've no doubt that your team has the edge in quality and has that added cohesion from playing together regularly but probably both sides could be labelled with the inconsistent tag. I've no doubt Hillingdon will finish above Slough (and saying that probaly Windsor as well). So well done.

Hey guys, go easy on our bins, they have feelings you know. They stand out at the boro in all weathers and constantly get crap thrown at them.

Seriously though, great support for you guys on tuesday, i hope that your players are gratefull for the amount of effort the supporters of slough town fc give. I just wish the boro could attract a decent following.

One slight critisim though, every time a foul was committed by boro you guys were very quick to get on the refs back and call for a card to be shown. I personally did not see a malicious foul all night. Football is a game for 22 players. I know its hard when your down and it sometimes feels that every decision goes against you, but thats football. Your a great club, with great support and you WILL turn this poor start round

Nick, there was a really nasty foul on Mark Janes in the second half where Sam Byfield had been knocked off the ball. The result was that he raced after Janes and went through the back of him with his studs up.Quite how the referee didn't book him I don't know. That rightly angered the support, but apart from that, it's just your usual howl of derision every time a decision goes against you.

Guest boro faithful

There is so many haters in the world.

no1. we played you 4 times already this season.won 3,drawn 1 not in any game were slough better than boro. theres no doubt that for spells of about 10 minutes you looked to play some good football and to be honest we found it hard to match it. but seriously not in any game did you look like winning!

no2.you dont even have a ground of your own to start critizing ours. we have by far the best club house in the league and probally around!

i started reading this forum since the first time we played you this season, and its interesting to see your different points of view.fact of the matter is, slough arnt good enough to stay out of the relegation zone. i wouild be very suprised if you dont get relegated this season. your teams not good enough and the fans just moan and groan. it was actually quite boring in the end! any slight decision there would be a uproar and i noticed that while playing!

Not surprised, the atmosphere created by the home faithful was such that you could hear a pin drop.

One of your victories required extra time so really I should have specified over 90 minutes. As you will see if you read the majority of the posts on here we all acknowledge that Hillingdon are a better side and are convinced that you will use the games in hand to propel you up the table. I hope that you enjoy bathing in the adulation of the loud girl who shouts "Come on the Boro" in response to every comment made on the terraces.

By the sounds of it I think he might have been playing in that replay!

I think he's wrong about us going down though. Midweek was a setback but a win tomorrow and another one or two good results before the end of the year and things will start looking much better.

you cant honestly say as fans that you are happy to play 19 league games and lose 15 of them? surely there must be a point were you have to start demanding points..because as we found for a part of last season when you are down there its very hard to get out of it all! and as for the trophy replay,do you honestly think you derserved to win that game? you started better but that last for about 15 minutes and then i thought we had more control for the rest of the match, but without any joy infront of goal.

if you read the paper from the link on your homepage, a quote from your manager said "we was merualled in midfield" i think that how it was spelt, you played 3-5-2 against 4-4-2, as a fan i wouldnt be happy seeing 3 of my midfeilders get out played by 2 players.

Of course we're not happy, but the manager resigned week before last so you could say we are in a 'period of transition' - hence why I am hopeful we will soon start picking up points. We are currently looking for a new manager to turn things around.

As for Tuesday, I wasn't there but I do know we had a lot of injuries - another excuse, you might think...

you must have been watching either a different game or left after the first 15 minutes because Slough were bloody lucky to take it to extra time that night.

anyway, the only reason were on here is because we haven't got any fans to go on ours!

look guys, this isn't a knock Slough campainge, far from it, some of the points raised are constructive, not meant to be destructive, as i said before Slough will get out of trouble and i believe that roy is doing a fantastic job in trying to secure your future. I for one look forward to next season when we lock horns again and welcome your great support back to the boro
