Charlie Hassler

need to know

Recommended Posts

I spoke to Charlie Hassler in the supermarket earlier today. It seems he was only told before the game on Saturday that he was not playing. He said the goalkeeper was from Thurrock and was only playing in the game v Dartford as an absolute one off.

He didn’t say anymore so the reasoning behind this decision may remain a mystery unless the question is answered by Jim tonight at the meeting.

I see that he has been busy since Saturday having played in the game on Monday night at St Albans and also for part of the game last night.

He has been selected for the Great Britain Fire Brigade team which I think is a great achievement. Good luck to him.

Charlie is a great keeper. Filling the shoes of Twon favourites such as Chopper and JJ was always going to be tough but he has got the fans right behind him. Lets hope Jim doesn't start mucking about with other trailists and the like again.

Bollox Charlie os not good enough! He has filled the shoes left by Chopper and JJ admirably. Sure, he could be more vocal and maybe the club could invest in some specialised training for him. I was out last night with Shaun O'Neill (Sawbo Shaun) who played with Charlie when he was younger. Shaun reckons that Charlie is a very good asset to our club. I'd take the advise of someone who has played in goal at professional clubs and in the Conference seriously.

Wise One, I am somewhat suspicious on how your literacy/grammer seem to differ from one post to another, but hey ho, anyway as for Charlie, he is without doubt our player of the season so far, maybe not reached Choppers level yet but if he perseveres Im sure he will.

STOP MOANING!!

Get off Charlie's back because he has given 100% this season so far and performed admirably in my opinion. At this level he is a sound keeper and been the best of all who have come and gone this season in that position.

Anyway, it's been almost a week since Dartford now so lets stop moaning and look to get behind the players to get things back on track this weekend with 3 points. People forget very quickly that performances were improving before last weekend, and one bad beating does not end our season. We need to move on.

Yes I know we musn't ignore what happened (especially the management team), but let's be honest, anyone who wants JC out (I am not one of those at present) is not going to get what they want before the end of the season so.........

All we need is more consistency in team selection!!
