I was gutted that we lost last night, I dont understand it, I honestly thought we deserved a point last night, Hillingdon also created little but somehow they managed to score 4 times catching us cold every time they seemed to come from nowhere.

Can't really single out anyone for critisism during the game, thought the debutant Van Spall looked a decent prospect.

It would be very harsh to criticise anyone from Slough last night. 0-0 at ht was a good result. Hillingdon were having the best of the attacks but our defence was well organised and holding firm just as it did on Saturday. When they scored the first it was against the run of play but the second was a great shot that Barney had no chance with. God knows what happened for 3 and 4 but I think we had becoma a little shell shocked. We did get back into a bit and deserved the consolation goal.

 

All in all tough night where the score flattered Hillingdon. Pluses were the performances of Van Spall and is Chima starting to look a bit more lively? One thing he proved when he hit the bar is that we need to shoot a bit more. We always seem so intent on getting it into the six yard box when we might get some success from having a pop from further out.

 

On an other note, what a crap ground. Rubbish pitch, joke stands, riduculous clubhouse and the worse food this season. Far happier at our borrowed ground than having something like this. And did you notice they had more bins than fans...we should have sung that one.

the other thing that was puzzling was why people would want to watch milan celtic on a screen inside the clubhouse when there is a real live match outside the building, i guess thats why im a non-league fan and they prefer their armchair.

i thought the ground was depressing although sycob is small it is compact and tidy and quite homely, im going to get emotional in a minute. lol
