FIFA, UEFA, Interpol and Miss Marple are currently carrying out investigations into events surrounding the half time abandonment of the respective Canvey and Concord games on Saturday.

 

It is rumoured that a Far Eastern betting syndicate who became knowledgeable about the two clubs during their studies into the Chinese year of the pig, placed a very large win double on both Saturday's games being called off at half time with the Piggies leading.

 

Investigations are now centering on a certain individual with proven Non-league contacts and a reputation for organising mayhem who may have been responsible for influencing events from a distance. When interviewed the said individual was reported to have said "I keep my faith in justice and refute any suggestions I was involved" this was said as he poured another glass of pinot.
