I suppose like a lot of threads posted here, the only connection to the club is that they are made by supporters. Explain please how word association and music thread were any more relavent?

I'd rather have Peter Reid than Venables as manager, but I have a sneaking suspicion Leeds might go down this season anyway.

Anyway, the problem with Venables is that he never really lets go of the tv work,

the man's living proof that you shouldn't try both at the same time.

 

So Sunderland, West Brom & Leeds for the drop?

Peter Reid could have managed 2 teams that both go down in one season.

Dare I respond by suggesting that I detected some faint evidence for hope today, despite the scoreline. I feel we should scrape the points needed. time will tell.

I must admit if Leeds do go down (and I actually think they are on the kind of slump that sends a team down - remember the late season slumps of Norwich and Wimbledon) then it will be the end of them, they will do a Sheffield Wednesday - Still big Div 2 derby for you both in a couple of seasons!

Can't say I was too disappointed by that result last night. Spurs have blown European qualification now anyway, so all that's left to salvage from another disappointing season is Arsenal to fk up in the league, and Leeds to go down!!
