ESL all time table

Ive worked out the all time ESL table by going through the final tables from every season and awarding 5 points for 1st place down to one point for the fifth placed team.Basildon have been the most successful team with 38 points,second is brentwood 34,3rd bowers 32,4th billericay 28,5th witham and canvey 26,7th ford 25,8th burnham and concord 23, and 10th heybridge 21.so the bees maybe without a win for 21 matches but still remain the most successful ESL team of all time.

You have far too much time on your hands... But did you break it down percentage-wise to the amount of seasons each club has been in the league?

no im not fecking einstein!!,5 points for the winners,4 for the runners up et cetera,i understand your point about romford only being members for a few seasons but thats hard luck,romford got 17 points which put them in joint 13th place with wivenhoe.

If he has to divide by the number of years then they will have less points than Hornchurch.

I suppose on a percentage ratio, then they would probably be top. But then again, I am not Einstein either!!

obviously hornchurch only have 5 points,talking of joke teams does anyone else remember brightlinsea,coggleshall,pegasus athletic,great wakering rovers,southend united 'A',chelmsford city reserves,or woodford town?? all former ESL clubs

Pegasus Athletic were no "joke" team in their first season in the league
