Just thought I'd let you guys that sung for the team that it sounded much louder than it has done for a long time. It came through on the recorded commentary. Were there were more of you than lately? Although not a feature on the commentary I heard you a couple of times in the second half too - which without a roof at the Coffin End is a great effort.

Cheers Wellsie. Great to see we had our biggest choir for months. A couple of extra faces can make all the difference. It makes everyone more likely to keep singing, and the team really fought it out second half which got us going. Well played to the lads who dealt with the conditions and got the three points that we deserved.

Just like to say how nice it was yesterday for the choir to come into the bar afterwards and chant thier support of the players. Now that is what I call positive support. I am sure Pinns and Ryan Peters really appreciated it.

If you have (and from memory you do) ISDN / internet access from the press box, you're on. I remember summarising for BBC Radio Kent in Conference South at your place when we lost and Rocky Baptiste sulked off after being substituted following our keepr's sending off! I think you had just lost all your money and we were ..... well crap!

 

Let's touch base closer to the game. Looking forward to it already though.

I would also like to say how good it was to meet so friendly supporters and to put some faces to the forum members. Its not many clubs that bring such good away support either, which always adds to the atmosphere. As wellsie stated it was noticed by myself that the choir were more loud than usual.

Great atmosphere on Saturday, well done the choir. Brill in the bar afterwards with opposing fans chanting against each other but in a civil way. Well done both sets of fans, cant wait until the return match especially as it is on Urchin Mentallist Birthday!!

Just looked at the two Margate goals. The first goal was from a throw in and the penalty incident was almost identical from another throw in. I thought I had played the wrong video when it started.
