Surprised only Pat's commented on the gate. It was sh!te. And no amount of maths is going to convince me that, with 80 or so York fans - as a wild guess - and 246 MyFCers claiming they were definites that only 650 locals turned up. Sure, the conditions played a part, but that attendance was woeful once again.

Am surprised no-one else has picked up on it either!

Seeing as how MyFC like a poll or 2, it would ge good to see if they produced one AFTER the game - "How many of the 'definitely WILL go' actually turned up?"

And yes, it would be easy to lie - but surely the 'members' are above that?

Stu M, what can be done about the gate ?

The MYFC rush isnt happening, it hopefully will pick up a bit when the deal is completed. Am I right in saying that in recent years, many things have been done to try and get the locals in ?

Will it take a real good team with a real chance of going into the league to get people there ? I know nothing about the area, but do many go to Charlton and other teams ?

What sort of gate will the FA Trophy get ?

You keep hearing that the mfc members are waiting for the DD to be finalised before they turn up in their thousands to support their new found love but they don't stop them suggesting all kinds of crap on their forum about how the club should be run.

Secondly about today. I thought the treatment given to Nade from some at the Plough End was diabolical. I just hope he has got bad hearing.

Ah, the eternal question! I really think short-term, the only thing that will get anyone through the doors is results. And enough of them to put us in the top four. A play-off 'possibility' isn't even enough these days!

MYFC members will never turn up in thousands, but some are waiting for DD, so that will add a few on.

Planning the club - well we have had nothing else to do since August, apart from go round and round in circles. In all the stuff posted, there is a little bit which is good, hell of a lot of crap aswell mind.

Well, for a starter, we could try playing entertaining, attacking football for 90 minutes, instead of the usual last 10 minutes or so.
That is only the starter.
I have plenty more suggestions.

When we're rich we can do the same thing perhaps? Get coaches to go up to Charlton and get people the hell out of there.

Harry, you ever tried driving a coach on bricks?

Was quite impressed with how quick you moved actually. Now we know you can squeeze into a shirt I think you should push for a place in the team.
