Hardly the best i've seen us play but we battled away and got a goal in the last few mins from a Cooper header. Good to stop the recent bad run and lets put bracknell back in their place tuesday.

A rather dull game in all honesty, played in quite difficult conditions in a ground that it would be fair to say is rather open to the elements.

 

so boring was the 2nd half that the Windsor fans that did make it were more interested in the add hoc game of hide & seek which was going on, however credit where credit is due Windsor kept battling and Cooper's salmon like header at the far post sealed the points in the final minute.

 

The highlight of the day has to be Coop's goal celebration, running behind the goal to be mobbed by the 5 travelling fans!

 

A couple of observations from the game, firstly I've never seen so few Windsor punters at a away game before and secondly for the first time in ages we seemed to have a ref who was on our side, twice Winchester had the ball in good positions and both times he stopped play to go back and book a Windsor player for a previous foul, much to the derision of the Winchester bench.

Just because we were not behind the goal doesn't mean we weren't there, there was at least a dozen in the main stand trying to stay dry!
