If the light was out for most of the firsthalf why was`nt the ref consulted immidaitely and the game stopped straight away then?I take it the lighting was no worse when the game was stopped than when the incident first happened.

But i have this nagging problem that your safety officer waited til half time to bring it to the refs attention.How difficult would it half been to consult a linesman to bring it to the refs attention.If a stand was blowing down because of high winds would your safety office wait til half time to decide if the players were in danger or not?

I will say this only:-

 

Enfield players where changed to shower by the time i had left the refs room walked to the pitch and informed the chairman that the game was trying to be called off!

 

I feel that right or wrong they took full advantage of this happening and to me that is weak and the sign of weak people.

 

there is one person to blame and that is there officer who told the ref to call the game off. He needs to look at himself and see if he made the call for the right reasons!!! or did he do it for Enfield FC....

 

The game should not have been called of and the people of Enfield FC,the ref and linos and the safety Officer need to have a good look at themselves!

 

Also Mr League Chairman and the FA lets have a look and see what can be done.
