Apparently, the Health and Saftey guy said that the lights were unfit! The referee eventually over-ruled this decision but rumour has it that the Enfield players were already changed back into normal clothing!

 

Lucky escape methinks....

 

Surley with all CRFCBOSSES ££££ he coulda spared some 50p`s for the meter!

 

Concord must be fuming!!

 

What happens to this result?

Apparently nothing, the ref made the desision on the linsmans say so and not the safty officers after he sent the senior lino out to asses the vision across the pitch, yes it was hard on concord and yes we got lucky today, but as i said to the ref in front of the concord manager and secretary we would have continued he still called it off

Enfield v Concord

Concord absolutely demolish a dire enfield outfit in the first 45 . 2-0 up and Enfield cant even muster a shot . They cant handle it and have abour 5 booked. At half time , The enfield boys rush off the pitch , they are told to jump in the shower so a load of them take their kit off get in the shower and suddenly the "ENFIELD HEALTH AND SAFETY OFFICER " says the game cant continue because 2 of the floodlights are dangerous and the fuse box was smoking . The ref says its ok to play but the enfield management complain and say that their boys are already in the shower as they thought the game was abandoned. So the ref abandons the game , with the enfield players, management , fans and staff all laughing their faces off . THEY ARE AN ABSOLUTE FVCKING DISGRACE TO THIS LEAGUE AND UNLESS WE EITHER GET THE POINTS OR THE GAME IS REPLAYED FROM THE START OF THE SECOND HALF WITH US 2-0 UP THIS LEAGUE WILL BE LETTING HORRIBLE CHEATING SCUM PROSPER. They loved the fact that they had got away with it, we got one apology from some old bloke who was clearly embarrassed by what happened but seriously this is an absolute disgrace. ONE WORD " CHEATS " .

ABSOLUTE CHEATING SCUM , YOU CAN LOSE A FOOTBALL MATCH WITH DIGNITY OR YOU CAN FLICK THE SWITCH AND GET THE GAME CALLED OFF AT HALF TIME .

THIS LEAGUE AND COMPETITION HAS BEEN BROUGHT INTO DISREPUTE AND IF THEY GET AWAY WITH IT WHICH I SUSPECT THEY WILL THEN THIS SEASON IS COMPLETELY TAINTED. I CANT BELIEVE THEY CAN GET AWAY WITH THIS . I AM DISGUSTED .

The essex senior league has been made to look like an absolute joke today and we have been robbed of what would have been an easy 3 points as they are an awful outfit , i cannot see why they are top of the league.

If we were losing 2-0 at half time , the question of the floodlights would have not been an issue.

If the fact 2 out of 8 floodlights means the game cannot be played becaise of darkness i have a video i recorded at 440pm with the lights on and how bright it is for anyone to see.

If the electric was a safety issue then surely the electric should have been turned off straight away. Why were the floodlights lefton til when we left , 5pm ????????

The enfield fans were cheering the fact the game had been called off .

ENFIELD 1893 FC - the club is a joke.

Im sure this post will be deleted but i will keep it and if it is i will post it again and again and again on every clubs forum .

I hope the league committee will realise what happened and do whats right and start the game from the 46th minute with us leading 2-0 . I wont hold my breath though .

Onebreast chill out mate join the list of clubs that have been cheated out of games this season,And think about it,if they are that bad you will beat them anyway, and also you aint got any worries about losing any home games now during these cold dark nights what goes around comes around,cheating feckers.

Carry on with the libel’s statements you are putting on hear you and your club will receive letters from our solicitors.

Our players took longer to leave the field than most of the concord players (probably as they did not want to get a few choice words from the manager), the players only started to change after me, Chris (concord Secretary) and the two managers were called in to the ref’s room and told by him that he will not carry on as the senior lino had deemed the unlit area to be unsafe (he did not take any advice from the safety officer only the lino) your secretary who I was with for most of the time would also know at no stage did the ref say that it was ok to play on and change his mind and that your manager and secretary was present when I said we will play on

One thing I will say is you could take a leaf out of your manager and secretary’s book and talk like a normal person instead of abusing people all the time

I'm gutted for you Concord. Enfield can't stand it when someone plays football against them!! Their bench went loopy when they got the equalizer against us. It must of really been hurting them to that point. At Enfield it's a kick and rush game their fans must be tired out of their minds with it. Glad to hear you gave them a lesson in football!! Just smash them again next time applause
