We deserved to win today and probably should have scored a couple more goals. For the first 35 minutes we were poor really, but the last 10 minutes we were playing better and started to get few shots on goal and maybe we should have been 1-0 up at half-time. We came out in the second-half with the same attacking mentality that we showed in the closing stages of the first half, but we couldn't find the back of the net until pinnocks low drive came off the inside of the post and crossed the line, but doing what we ussually do after going 1-0 up we conceded a few minutes later.

 

Straight after they equalised we looked likely the score the winner and that we did thanks to Luke Coleman's late penalty which their keeper was very unlucky with in all fairness after getting both hands onto it, but it just helped into the top corner.

 

A good performance overall and a great win, now for some consistancy.

Well Sanderson you managed a respectable position last season and are doing so this season. When i watched you against Horsham your strikers couldn't hit a barn door they were that bad, i have seen much better in Sunday league. But i suppose that was just an off day eh! Sanderson? Well you wouldn't know because i doubt you were there.

 

Still very happy after today and it is better when you see that Ramsgate lost to a team that we beat 1-0 up there last week.

Saying what i see. If things don't look good then i will criticise the team where I feel it's due, but if we win and play reasonably well as a team then why criticise?

I dont know what game you were watching. Although we won and 3 points were most welcome I saw a rubbish game between two teams as bad as each other who just seemed content to hump the ball up the pitch and hope for the best.

what it is at the end of the day is 3pts and 4th place , even if we`ve played a few more than a couple of other teams . We could all ask what a game of football is , it could be the long ball up and over from back to front it could be all played on the floor and one touch but football is about getting more points than the rest and there is only 3 that have more than us and a bunch that have less so in my book whatever we are doing and it might not be to the taste of some we are doing something right with a bunch of kids who will grow in stature and grab us 3pts each week weather it be 1-0 or 5-4 its a win .Up the Gate .

quite clearly you have not played the wonderful game lisat as although I agree with you about the quality of the fayre on offer to the paying baying masses.... the conditions out there would have caused arsenal problems...it was however a typically wet and windy important.. ryman premier game..and as such was enjoyable in its own way...

perhaps the purist football to be found at ramsgate would be more your cuppa...

I agree with lisat with most of the first half, but the second-half was a big improvement. We kept the ball down more instead of hoofing it forward like what we were doing most of the first half and quite a bit this season.
