Think the inference is that the Blues players will be knackered as they'll have to leave home before the 'local' Rams team. That may be the reason why, at Southwood last year we took an early lead, lobbing local (as in Hertfordshire based) 'keeper Wilkerson.

Hey everyone,

 

1) I think it's a shame we (Ramsgate fans) can't mix with you lot in the bar due to segregation. I know the match has to be segregated for security reasons though, because, let's face it, both sets of fans do 'hate' each other. But I would have liked to have gone in the bar there and met a few Gate fans who I know through the computer but have never met face to face, as well as good old Holland (Dutch Mike).

 

2) It is hilarious how Hartsdown Park is made out in some quarters to be Wembley in comparison to Southwood, but I found that that Coffin End affords a poor view for the majority of fans up there.

 

3) Anyone know if there is any public transport on Boxing Day? I suspect the buses don't run but what about the trains (Cookie?)?

 

Well I'm sooo looking forward to the game as I'm sure everyone else. Hope to see you there and hope for a good game too!

1) Agree re - segregation - but as usual the Majority have to suffer due to the actions of a few (and they're just 'hangers on' not real fans)

2) Wouldn't say the view from the Coffin End is bad, it's just not terraced, so if you're short & don't get to stand at the front, the view is not so great.

3) If last year is anything to go by - there wont be any public transport (unless you pay a Kings Ransom for a taxi).
