Guildford City 4 - 3 Chessington and Hook

Seven goals down at the Spectrum this afternoon and a pretty decent game too!

Sadly, lots of yellow cards slightly spoiled the game but the referee was taking a fair amount of stick so well within his rights to dish out the cards.

Chessington played some attractive football, and will be disappointed not to have come away with a result. The match hinged on a short spell in the first half in which everything Guildford touched seemed to find the back of the net, and we were 4-1 up at half time. (A very flattering scoreline to even the most biased of City's supporters)

Second half was much less pretty, and nothing of note happened until two quickfire Chessington goals in the late stages of the game. Guildford held their nerve and kept calm (unlike other times this season) to protect the lead.

I apologise to annoy offended by the poor quality of my tannoying today, it's not usually my job... and someone nicked my team sheet at half time which really didn't help matters!
