Good solid TEAM performance and it looks like the new players have bought a freshness to the team.

New players look very useful, and the "old" players performed to their full potential.

There was lots of talk about MOTM in the stand, but I would give it to the team, as it is team performances that win games.

Disapointing to see George go off on the stretcher considering how long he has been injured previously.

May this be the begining of things to come.

I don't want to get too carried away, as there is a long, long way to go but that looked promising today. We were not playing 'arsenal style football' but as you have seen from the top teams in this league you don't have to do that. You just have to be well-organised, hard working and hard to break down as we were today.

First of all handing Riddell the armband and letting Steve Daly concentrate on his own game (if it was planned or not) helped.

Both Oxford City boys were good - especially Rendell and Abbey's brother was what we've needed in centre mid, someone to give it simple.

and Lee Charles best game for the club by far..

Plus that win drags Andover and Gosport into the battle now.

Fantastic performance from the whole team. Every player who pulled on the shirt today played with passion and confidence, and easily one of our best games this season.

As said previously very hard to choose MOTM as it should probably go to the whole team. Lee Charles had his best game in a shirt, all of the new signings looked very promising and our defence looked so much more organised with Riddell Daly and Harper at the back.

Changing the captaincy around seems to have worked today, Riddell has great passion and desire to win, and Daly had a good game today, maybe because he didn't have to worry about being captain.

What a difference a few days makes! If we can play like that more often then we will pick up points more often, hopefully starting with Hillingdon on Tuesday. The next few games are crucial against bottom half teams.

Up the Rebels!

Got there just in time to see the celebrations for the first goal. Tought that if that turned out to be the only goal, would still have been worth the trip. Good all round team performance, with players working for each other all over the pitch. Lee Charles was outstanding. Personally think it is all down to one peson - my ten year ol, two games, two wins!!

Got to add to the previous reports and say a big well done to all the boys today, and once again the fantastic slough supporters(best in league). After wacthing the last four or five games there seemed a new deterimination and willingness to win today, thats all us supporters expect from each player and today it paid off. Unlucky to see George get strectured off and wish him a speedy recovery but more of a worry is that Dave Barratt was also injured. Hes a Big Player for the team and now that we look to be turning a corner, he will be needed to keep us driving on. Great performances and big hearts so hope this is a sign of things to come.

Well done to ALL the team. A really good performance.

The fight was there, we played the simple pass whenever possible, and every one was happy on the ball.

The clubhouse after the game was buzzing. This can only help with the cnfidence levels and show them what can be done.

Very hard to pick a MOM, but I would say mine would be the number 3, Lee Rendell. He was like a rock in defence, and opened them up going forward.

I would like to thank all of the players who have stayed, all of the players that have come in at such a low point of the clubs season.

Also, a swift recovery to George. Let's hope he is fit enough to play for us soon, but only when he is ready.

think credit where credits due Betts has done a great job bringing in these new players at short notice (i assume they havent been training for a while at the club)

really good performance and one that looks like really could be a turning point for us (yeah we say it all the time i know)
