Haringey Borough v Hoddesdon

Recommended Posts

Haringey top of the league, a new manager and on the back of 3 straight league wins....

Hoddesdon beat them 4-0 a month ago but have lost 3 of last 4 league games...

Massive game for Hoddy to get back on track, looks like C Oboji is the in form danger man for Haringey.. definately going to be a much tighter affair than last time around I reckon.

I'm actually back in the first team squad tomorrow so hoping to play my part!!

Bedford v Sport London e Benfica tomorrow as well so thats four of the top 6 playing each other.

With only 6 points separating them it could be all change at the top of the table tomorrow! After tomorrows games im going for ....

1. Kentish Town

2. Haringey Borough

3. Hoddesdon Town

4. Bedford FC

5. Sport London e Benfica

6. Stony Stratford Town

NeutralFan - I can't see it as we are looking to make amends for last weeks 'surprise defeat' as was described in Haringey Borough's match report. I don't see how it could be a surprise as Stony Stratford Town are no mugs and took full advantage of us going down to ten men after just four minutes.

I see that Mr Panayotiou is on the Hanwell Town v Hertford Town game so Division 1 should hopefully be safe from any controversy tomorrow.

That gives me an idea. We should split the forum into 2 strict sections, Prem and Divs 1 & 2. Then at least some people would be safe from the Rhodes controversy.

Prem clubs could think of it as an added bonus not to get relegated, and Div 1 clubs now have an added incentive to get promoted. It's magic!

Controversy?

You sound bitter Mr Rhodes.

What seems to be troubling you?

Petethegreek - No I'm not bitter but just a bit frustrated with certain linesmen costing us games this season that's all such as the home game with Cheshunt Reserves and our game with Stony Stratford Town last week.

How does the Bedford pitch hold up with all the rain that's there at the moment?

I think the only change will be Stony Stratford leapfroging Hoddesdon tomorrow. laugh ONLY KIDDING! I'm going for, no change at the top apart from Kentish Town dropping some points!:

Fair comment but how can you say the Assistant last week was right to influence the Referee in sending the Kentish Town goalkeeper off after just four minutes. Mr Clement had waved play on and it was a minute or two later before he spotted the Assistant waving furiously as if his life depended on it.

Based on what I have seen of assistant referees in the SSML it is unusual to happen but fair play to the assistant in this case if he has seen an infringment for making sure he brought it to the referees attention. I believe thats the job spec though.

Don't you mean a second or two?

That's just it as it wasn't an infringement and the Referee had rightly waved play on, the Stony Stratford player purposely ran into our goalkeeper and then fell to the floor and the Assistant was conned, Paul Newman and Robert Redford style.
